I'm gonna be honest, at the time when Miya told me we were interviewing Red, who owned West End and it being a shop he got from Julia and Foot who you will learn more about, I thought he was gonna be old. Not old like 40 so to speak, old like 60 and smaller. I really don't know why. As you can see Red does not look anywhere near 60 or really even 40 and could easily be cast as Extra #2 in that scene where Deebo knocked out...Red (see what I did there)
Red was one of my favorite interviews, I think it's because we share a similar dry, snarky humor and way of telling stories, but also there was so much information to gain about tattooing and the history. If you're in Atlanta, I would recommend you visit his current shop, Tri-Cities Tattoo and figure out some shit to talk to him about, he's into all types of art and he doesn't mind talking about it as long as you don't say no dumb shit.

Kirk Boutte of Effum BodyWorks

Kirk has been operating Effum for over 15 years to this...
Effum Body Works
This day as a whole was awesome, if you watched Kirk's interview already, you know he is pretty cool, not just cause he wined and dined us like we was running for president either. Effum as a whole had so much personality and a vibe very uniquely there own. This is some raw footage from that day,...
